Autumn started at the Sheraton Algarve & Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira with an explosion of flavours following the re-opening of restaurants Aldar and Il Giardino.
After an ‘Indian Night’ held at Aldar last week, a week dedicated to game meats is taking place until October 21 at Il Giardino, featuring a special menu prepared by Chef Osvalde Silva.
From 7pm each day, diners are able to try deer, pheasant and wild boar dishes accompanied by a selection of Portuguese wines.
Meanwhile, each Saturday from 9am, Chef Osvalde will be leading a culinary workshop on how to prepare the typical Algarvian Cataplana, where the secrets of cooking this special dish will be revealed. Price to participate is €75 per person, including lunch and beverages.
For wine lovers, a tasting of Portuguese wines will take place on October 25 at Restaurant Il Giardino at 7pm. Price is €39 per person.
