Infront Motor Sports has voted the Algarve International Autodrome (AIA) near Portimão winner of the 2011 Superbike Organiser Award.
The award is given as recognition of the efforts made by “professional and motivated staff” at the AIA circuit after they successfully arranged and created high standards to help everyone who worked in the Superbike paddock in 2011.
In a statement to the Algarve Resident, Paolo Flammini, CEO of Infront Motor Sports, said: “I believe that this reflects the professionalism and motivation of the Algarve Autodrome team, demonstrating that the Portimão circuit is undoubtedly one of the best circuits on a global scale.”
Parkalgar CEO Paulo Pinheiro said: “This award brings great pride and reinforces the work that the team here works on developing daily. This award is for the AIA, but especially for the people who contribute to achieving these results, who give their best every day.
“We are very satisfied and motivated to continue working this way.”
The Portuguese round of the next FIM Superbike World Championship will take place at the AIA circuit on September 23 next year.
