An ATM machine was stolen from the Seaside shoe shop on the industrial site in Alcantarilha, near Silves, during the early hours of the morning on December 16.
A GNR spokesman told the Algarve Resident: “The robbers used a JCB, which they stole from nearby, to smash the shop window before they stole the ATM machine.”
The spokesman added that the GNR are investigating the crime.
