Algarve-based author Peter Daughtrey will be giving a presentation about his recent book, which identified southwest Iberia as the area Plato was referring to in his famous works about Atlantis, on July 19 at Silves library.
Much of the area in question is now submerged to the south of the Algarve and Peter further identified Silves as the site of the ancient Atlantis capital, which Plato described in great detail.
The talk will start at 6pm and will be in English with Portuguese translations.
Entrance is free.
