The crash of a passenger airliner, which was flying between the cities of Koktchetav and Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, caused the deaths of six crew members and 16 passengers.
“The plane crashed while attempting to land due to severe weather conditions” said a spokesman for the company. The SRG-200 plane belonging to Scat airline company crashed in the nearby village of Almaty’s airport at 8.40am Lisbon time on Tuesday.
