Association organises trip to see dinosaurs

The Algarve Archaeological Association is organising a five-day trip to Torres Vedras/Lourinhã, starting on October 17.

Portugal has a rich archaeological history and on this trip you will have the opportunity to see dinosaur eggs in the museum at Lourinhã, visit the lines of Torres Vedras started by the Duke of Wellington in the 19th century plus a tour to the museum there.

The trip also includes visits to the Pharmacy Museum and Roman Theatre in Lisbon together with an opportunity to visit the Science and Technology Department of Lisbon University.

There will also be a day in the historic town of Alcobaça and its monastery.

The cost is €440 per person.
