As spring finally arrives, the season’s first Casa Aberta/Open House has been organised to take place at the Mirage Restaurant in Praia da Luz on Saturday, March 15, starting at 6pm.
Organisers promise “plenty of stalls featuring a range of local art and handicrafts, together with homemade cakes and locally produced wine and liqueurs”.
Historical costumes created by Corinne Ferreira will also be on display, and live music will be supplied by quiet American Cory Sea.
The Open House events have been created by a small group of friends, who say they want to “build bridges between communities, supporting local art and craftspeople in a friendly and cheerful environment”.
Promising something for everyone, proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity for the handicapped NECI.
