NEWS OF the widespread panic buying of fuel last week prompted German artist Timo Dillner to send The Resident this light-hearted look at an otherwise serious and worrying situation. Born 1966 in Wismar, Germany), Timo is married with two children.
After university, where he had designs on becoming a teacher of art and the German language, he spent nine years working at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cottbus, also in Germany. Since 1998 Timo and his family have lived near Lagos, where Timo earns his living as an artist and writer.
