Belgian artist Mikki F is running ceramic workshops at her studio/art gallery in Algoz.
An Alladin’s Cave as she describes it, her studio is filled with paintings and ceramics created by herself.
“I studied ceramics in high school and loved it. But my career took another direction and after designing jewellery for 15 years and opening my own art gallery in Belgium, I moved to Portugal.
“Here I fell in love again with ceramics. When I start making an object, I have no idea where the clay will take me.”
Mikki F runs three-hour ceramic courses on Thursdays from 9am to 12 noon and from 7pm to 10pm which cost €15 per person. She also runs two-hour painting classes on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm, costing €15 per person.
