GALERIA CORTE Real located at the old railway station in Boliqueime is currently exhibiting paintings by the Dutch artist Alma van Wilgenburg.
Alma van Wilgenburg’s paintings are characterised by distressed and aged objects as the process of deterioration fascinates her, especially effects created by the weathering of wood.
The artist has exhibited her work in Holland and Notting Hill Gate in London, but the largest collection of her work to date is at Galeria Corte-Real.
To reach the gallery take the EN 125 to Fontes de Boliqueime where there are signs to the railway station and the gallery. The gallery is open five days per week from 10am until 5pm and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
For more information about the exhibition please telephone 912 737 762 or 918 980 199.
