An exhibition of art and photography was held on October 16 at the Almadena social club, with work from the entrants of the St Vincent’s art and photography competition being displayed for visitors.
The competition was organised by the church in conjunction with the Algarve craft association Art and Craft Fair and photographs entered into the competition were judged by John Ballinger, while Davis Haines and Rosemary Reynolds judged the art section of the competition.
Winners in the photography section were Poppy Symington in the under 11 category, Jennifer Hart in the under 14, Alison Wolstenholme in the under 18 and Bob Woodworth in the over 18 category.

In the art work competition, it was Ruby Alice Mitchener who took first place in the under 11 category, Siva Roman Bhasin in the under 14, Lilly Shelton in the under 18 and Marq Ragne who won in the over 18s category.
