Lisbon’s busy Arroios metro station will remain closed until 2019 to undergo €7.5 million of renovations which will allow six-carriage trains to circulate along the entirety of the ‘Linha Verde’ (one of the Portuguese capital’s four tube lines).
The works started on today (July 19) and have already been criticised by businesses which say they were “not officially informed”.
