Around €4 million invested in promoting Portugal at Hannover Messe industrial fair

In all around €4 million has been invested in promoting Portugal at Germany’s Hannover Messe industrial fair which opens next week. Luís Castro Henrique, president of AICEP (Portugal’s Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade) has been telling Lusa that the fair “is the biggest investment in the last decade by AICEP in promotional activity” and sets out to show why ‘Portugal makes sense’: “for industrial production, for partnerships and for investment”. German chancellor Olaf Scholz will be opening the fair. “His first visit will be to the Portugal pavilion, where he will have a small seminar and where we will present exactly how and why Portugal makes sense”, said Mr Castro Henrique
