Roughly 67,500 spectators will be allowed in the stands at the Algarve International Autodrome (AIA) for the next edition of MotoGP, taking place over the weekend of November 5-7. The news was announced by AIA director Paulo Pinheiro this afternoon, as Portimão mayoress Isilda Gomes claimed the event could bring €40 million to the local economy. Many hotels are considering remaining open through October in anticipation of bookings, she said.
