The leader of what has been described as a ‘transnational criminal network’ that stole hundreds of weapons from gunsmiths in France and Switzerland for onward sale on the black market has been arrested by PJ police and held pending extradition to France. The 30-year-old French national was arrested earlier this week at the cosmetics shop he runs in Nazaré.
