PJ police are looking for a man believed to be behind two armed raids on a restaurant and shop in Albufeira.
National tabloid Correio da Manhã reports the ‘modus operandi’ was the same for both attacks.
The gunman, speaking “Portuguese” and wearing a hoodie, forced employees to place money inside a bag. He then escaped with the cash, estimated at “hundreds of euros”.
The first raid took place at the American Diner 3 on Rua do Município early last Thursday evening.
The second came 24-hours later at cell phone repair shop Doctor Mobile in the Bellavista Comercial building.
