Armacenenses aim to secure safety

Armação de Pêra outfit CF Armacenenses has no illusions about the coming season in the Championship Prio under new coach Ivo Soares (ex-Louletano). After coming so close to relegation last season, they will be endeavouring to secure a good start to the new campaign.

Ivo Soares leads a technical team that includes João Armando (assistant), Gabriel Caetano (goalkeeping coach) and Pedro Mendonça (physical trainer and observer) whilst José Fernandes, the club’s former coach, is the new sports director.

The squad includes: Goalkeepers – Bruno Costa, João Azul (ex-Louletano), Rúben Peres (ex-Lagoa) and Rúben Guerreiro (youth team). Defenders – Marco Silva, Daniel Rodriguez and Jamil Rodriguez (ex-Quarteirense), Rafinha, Rúben Casimiro (ex-Barreirense), Julián Bonilla (ex-Quarteirense), Elvis Mendes (ex-Gouveia) and Jackson. Midfield: Paco, Yan Mosquera (ex-Quarteirense), Pedro Pedroso (ex-Atlético da Malveira), Ary (ex-Ferreiras), Jhon Ramirez (ex-Quarteirense), Márcio Meira (ex-Louletano), Tiago Pulido (ex-Lusitano VRSA) and Thomas Ravera. Forwards: André Matias, Diogo Tiago, Fua, Bandarra (ex-Louletano), Lamine, Ronald Abadía (ex-Quarteirense) and Mamadou Diallo (ex-Vitória de Sernache).
