The “1st Armação de Pêra Photo Marathon” is taking place on June 20 and is open to all with a passion for photography. Participants will have to photograph a number of topics within a time limit.
It starts at 9am at the Holiday Inn Algarve, where each participant will be given the first theme. In total there are eight themes, which will be distributed each hour at different meeting points in the town.
Prizes include a FNAC voucher to the value of €250, two nights’ stay at the Holiday Inn Algarve and a Dive Spot Scuba diving baptism.
Cost per participant is €5 and part of the proceeds will be donated to social solidarity shop Espaço Amigo in Armação de Pêra.
The event is organised by Portugal4U, the Armação de Pêra parish council and the Holiday Inn Algarve.
This is one of a number of events taking place in Armação de Pêra on June 20 to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of Armação de Pêra becoming a town.
