The Iberian Peninsula’s first indoor waterpark is due to open “soon” at the Aquashow waterpark in Quarteira.
The announcement was made last week on the waterpark’s Facebook page.
Further details are being kept under wraps for now, although Aquashow has confirmed that hot water will be used at the indoor waterpark’s slides and pools.
The indoor waterpark will be located near the existing outdoor waterpark. The opening date is due to be revealed soon, says Aquashow.
The project had already been announced in 2019, with plans to open the indoor waterpark in 2020. However, like so many other projects, it was put on the backburner due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aquashow is located on the EN396 road near Quarteira and boasts a four-star hotel apart from the waterpark.
