Quarteira’s famous waterslide park now features an indoor water complex with pools, slides and a Spa.

The first indoor water park in the Iberian Peninsula, Aquashow Indoor, is opening its doors on Thursday, October 20. It is part of Quarteira’s Aquashow complex, the most complete aquatic and thematic park in Portugal, which features the well-known outdoor waterslide park and a 4-star hotel with 148 rooms.

Although this new indoor water-themed park is located within the complex, it functions independently from the outdoor waterslide park and the hotel.

Enabling visitors to enjoy “Summer all year”, Aquashow Indoor offers a variety of experiences ranging from areas designed to encourage play for babies and children, amusements and attractions for grown-ups, and adult-only areas for relaxation.

An adventure pool with a climbing wall, hammock, and rings, a wave pool, a children’s pool with slides and water cannons, a baby pool, water jets and waterfalls are part of the central entertainment.

The SPA area is open to children aged 13 and above and features a relaxation pool with jacuzzis, water jets, water beds, and a fast river circuit where guests can swim against the current. There is also a Scottish shower, a shower with essential oils, a sauna, a Turkish bath, a thermal bath, two massage rooms and more.

The water slides area includes one of the most exclusive slides in the world, the Tornado, which starts in a 26-meter-high tower. Here, visitors can listen to music, visualise their choice of light effects, and slide through a giant 16m diameter cone, creating a sensation of free fall.

Four other slides are located in this same tower, two of which are used with mats, one with buoys and another without accessories.

A special pre-opening campaign offers a 10% discount on tickets purchased online until October 16.
