April 3 has once again been given as the date when life in Portugal can go back to normal (and drop remaining pandemic-led restrictions). The date was given on February 24 by DGS health director Graça Freitas (click here), albeit she didn’t want to be held by it. Today, health minister Marta Temido has suggested April 3 it will be as perpetuation of a health emergency (when there isn’t one) can no longer be sustained.
