China is set to overtake the US as the leading market for technology giant Apple, announced the company’s CEO. In an interview with Chinese news agency Xinhua, Tim Cook said China is currently Apple’s second most important market and that he was convinced that, in less than one year, it would be in the leader’s position. Tim Cook also told Chinese Sina.com website that Apple was preparing to open 25 stores in China to add to its current 11 in the country.
