It’s almost the end of August, which means that Aperitivo Theatre Group will soon be getting back to rehearsals ready for performances of their new play about an ageing circus troupe.
“Roll Up! Roll Up!” will be staged on September 25-26 at the Museum in São Brás and on October 2 at the Casa do Povo in Moncarapacho.
Say the theatre group: “Getting closer… although not in the case of Lottie and Dottie, the world’s only socially-distanced Siamese Twins.
“Just a few final tests to make sure we have all we need: hearing aids, Zimmer frames, sufficient supply of tobacco and rolling papers … Roll Up! Roll Up!”
