Anti-toll group ‘Movimento Algarve Sem Portagens’ has put out a statement to mark the 10th anniversary of the “unfair tolls” on the Algarve’s A22 motorway.
“The introduction of tolls on this motorway has very clearly harmed the Algarve population and small and medium-sized businesses,” says the group, calling on people to remember who is “responsible for the introduction of the tolls when the time comes for the next elections in January”.
