Anti-bullfighting activists will stage a peaceful protest tomorrow (August 17) outside Albufeira’s bullring at 8pm.
Organised by Cidade de Albufeira Anti-Touradas (CAAT), the demonstration will begin two hours before the 10pm bullfight, and all-comers are welcome.
“This is a protest against practices and not against people,” says the group, adding that “offences will not be tolerated”.
CAAT has held several similar demonstrations over the years, some of which have attracted as many as 100 people.
