Another 100% pass rate at VVIS

As always, August 2019 has been a time of travel, holiday jobs and festivity for students of the Vale Verde International School (VVIS), in Burgau; yet also a time of keen anticipation as the results of their labours are published.

VVIS students maintained their 100% pass rate at IGCSE with 80% pass rate grades A*-C.  The passes were gained over a total of 120 subjects in one sitting representing sciences, languages, the humanities and art, with all students qualifying to enter for AS/A level subjects in their coming year.

Special congratulations go to Benjamin de Beer who, in addition to gaining passes in his nine Cambridge Assessment IGCSE subjects, has been awarded the ICE certificate with Merit.

The AS level was represented by a 75% pass rate A-E whilst the Advanced level results recorded a 100% pass rate with 75% A*/A qualifications. Amongst those students was Mara Martins who is to be especially congratulated on gaining one A* and two A’s in her subjects.

The staff and administration would like to commend all students on their achievements and wish them all success in their future endeavours.
