Golfers in the Algarve are reminded that a golf tournament in aid of the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) is taking place on August 30 at the Monte Rei Golf & Country Club in the eastern Algarve. Shotgun start at 9.30am.
The Annual Charity Golf Challenge, as the event is called, is being organised by the Rotary Club Estoi Palace International along with Blacktower Financial Management Group, and supported by the Resident newspaper and Golfino, Europe’s leader for fashionable golf wear.
The programme for the day includes a buffet breakfast and barbecue lunch, free on course water and soft drinks, competition prizes, optional raffle and an auction.
