The Barlavento International Primary School in Espiche is hosting its famous bonfire night on Saturday November 9, and is planning another show-stopping firework display during the event.
The evening kicks off at 6.30pm and is destined to be a great night out for all the family. Furthermore the event will be raising funds for NECI and the orphanage in Lagos so you can be sure that your money is going towards two very deserving causes.
And there’s no need to worry about dinner – Indian cuisine will be on sale, as will bangers and burgers for the kids. There will also be a bar serving a selection of drinks, and if you want to really get into the Christmas spirit, treat yourself to a cheeky glass of mulled wine.
Inside the main school building there will be a variety of stalls selling tempting goodies from books and Christmas cards, to toys and gifts, and the tombola is always a firm favourite with everyone.
Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the night – make sure you purchase yours to be in with a chance to win – and DJ Donna will be providing music entertainment.
Entrance only: Adults €5, children €3, under 4s free.
