Animal rehoming continues

Animals from the soon to close Goldra shelter are already finding new homes in the community, with four dogs being adopted by members of the community last week taking the total of dogs down to 106.

If anyone would like to adopt one of the cats or dogs from the shelter that will be closing at the end of May then please call Ingrid to make an appointment Monday to Saturday on 918 973 896 or for a Sunday appointment call Verna on 962 560 451.

Meanwhile, a quiz night to help raise money for the shelter is due to be held on Saturday March 6 from 8pm at Strictly Social in Alcantarilha with spaces still available for between four and six teams. Entry to the quiz costs 10 euros per person and includes a buffet supper. For further information please call 917 764 885.

The last quiz night held on February 6 raised more than 500 euros for the charity, which will be used to pay for the continued care of the existing animals at Goldra.
