A new hospital for animals opened in Loulé on December 1.
The Hospital Veterinário de Loulé (Loulé Veterinary Hospital) has a team of three veterinary surgeons with expertise in the areas of internal and diagnostic medicine, feline medicine, clinical analysis, ultrasonography, cardiology, oncology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
With separate examination rooms and hospitalisation wards for cats and dogs, as well as x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory diagnostics, the Loulé Veterinary Hospital aims to be a reference in the region, providing a more complete service for its customers and contributing to improved veterinary medical care available in the Algarve.
The facility aims to fill a gap in veterinary hospital services in the Loulé municipality. Available 24 hours a day, the hospital unit is also the closest to those needing assistance from the west of the Algarve. Another veterinary hospital is located in Faro.
