Around 80 people enjoyed an evening of Indian and international food at the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra at the annual Association for the Protection of Animals in the Algarve (APAA) summer buffet and dance.
More than €850 was raised during the evening and will be donated to the APAA for the SNiP campaign, a spaying and neutering in Portugal programme.
The next APAA fundraiser will be a craft fair held tomorrow (Saturday) in the grounds of Optimum Outdoor Solutions on the EN125 near the Aqualand water park.
Entrance to the fair is free and it will run from 10am until 4pm with refreshments available throughout the day.
