VARIOUS MONTH-old puppies – Setters, Cocker Spaniels, Huskies, Boxers, Labradors and even Sheepdogs – are currently at Sintra’s municipal kennels, awaiting new homes.
In order to help them find new owners, the council is holding adoption campaigns on the first and third Saturday of every month, taking place from 10am until 4pm at Jardim da Correnteza, in front of Sintra Municipal Library.
Dozens of cats are also hoping to be homed and given the care and affection they deserve. All animals are vaccinated and have undergone treatment for fleas, so why not come down to Jardim da Correnteza and choose a new addition for your family?
In the case of poor weather on campaign days, potential owners should visit the kennels at Sintra Câmara, located at Avenida Almirante Gago Coutinho, during the same hours, instead.
