A recital of lieder and opera arias “to celebrate love” held recently by the Angels Theatre Group at the Igreja da Misericórdia in Tavira helped raise more than €800 in aid of the Algarve Oncology Association.
The audience was entertained by Maria Rocha (soprano) and Stephen Dehn (baritone), with John Evans on the piano. The evening ended with a standing ovation.
The Angels Theatre Group entertain for charity. The group gives their time and talent free of charge and all proceeds are passed on to benefit others.
