Andele, andele, Mexico is the way

Thousands of young Spanish people are flocking to Mexico in search of jobs as the crisis in Spain is unlikely to improve in the near future.

Mexico, a country which shares historic and linguistic links with Spain, is seen by many as a favourable destination to find employment.

Mexico’s immigration office reported the number of Spanish granted work permits in the last quarter of 2012 was 7,630.

A recent official report estimated that last year, 166,000 Spanish between the ages of 16 to 24 left the country looking for work abroad.
