Doctors from the Spanish region of Andalusia may now travel to the Algarve to “lend a helping hand” in a bid to mitigate the region’s chronic lack of health professionals.
The partnership was struck last Thursday (July 7) during a meeting between the two regional health authorities.
The deal also involves a “stronger collaboration in terms of training and research”.
