Igreja de Santo António in Lagos is the venue for two early music concerts this month.
The church, whose interiors are lavishly plastered in gold, is considered one of the most beautiful in Portugal. It will host Baroque Generation today (Friday) and Le Goût Théatral on August 17 both starting at 6pm.
Organised by the Lagos Music Academy, the concerts will feature musical sounds from instruments designed to replicate those of old times. Cost per person is €5 or €3 for groups of a minimum of three persons.
