ANA airports authority “doesn’t know” when it will soundproof homes and buildings

ANA airports authority has a list of 513 homes and apartment blocks and 23 buildings in Lisbon (including hospitals and schools) which should have started being ‘protected’ by soundproofing insulation from January. The work is projected within ANA’s ‘plan of action against noise’. But according to Expresso, ANA “does not know when the works will begin”. In the case of residential buildings, proprietors have to request finance from an online platform which Expresso says “doesn’t even exist yet”.
