AART AND Yvonne de Haan took over Algarve-Webcams in September 2008. Together with their employee, Telma Mendes, they have already expanded the business with two more cameras and attracted more advertisers.

Using live images on their website, visitors are able to experience, live, some of the Algarve’s most beautiful places. This is an interesting new way of advertising where local business can become far more popular.
At the moment Algarve-Webcams has around 1,250 visitors per day and the number continues to grow.

The installed cameras are custom-built for outside use and due to their high quality lenses, they send excellent pictures both during the day and at night.
Images are refreshed every 60 seconds so you have an up-to-date view. In the future it will be live-streaming, so there are moving images. Currently, Algarve-Webcams has cameras in Carvoeiro centre, Carvoeiro beach, Praia da Rocha and Ferragudo.
The next one will be in Portimão. In total there will be around 20 cameras throughout the whole Algarve.
