Amphibians

Local environmental association Almargem is celebrating the International Amphibian Day on April 26 by distributing a small survey across Algarve councils about the plight of amphibians, along with suggestions to help protect creatures such as frogs, toads, salamanders and tritons. According to the association, the 13 species of amphibians that can be found in the Algarve are in a “state of worrying vulnerability”.
