International rap artist Tyga was the headline act for the inauguration of Praia da Rocha’s newest party spot, Blanco Beach.
The opening event was packed with Portuguese celebrities, party dwellers, guest DJs and dancers, with light shows building up the atmosphere prior to the main event.
When Tyga took to the stage, the crowd went wild and you could hear the screams of young fans from outside where they clung onto the boundary walls hoping to catch a glimpse of their hero.
Bottles of Moët & Chandon with sparklers were brought out during the performance and only added to the already pumped up crowd’s excitement.
The venue, which previously housed the popular Meo Spot and Sasha Beach, is decorated in white and centred around a big stage and swimming pool with round lounge beds, private Jacuzzi Cabanas and fire pit seating areas.
Entry during the day is free with DJs and ambient music all day long. From 6pm, entry costs €10 including a drink. Entry price increases depending on the artist performing.
