Gusto by Heinz Beck, the flagship restaurant of Conrad Algarve, the luxury resort in Quinta do Lago run by three Michelin starred Chef Heinz Beck, has received the coveted Five-Star Diamond Award 2015.
The accolade is considered the “most prestigious recognition” handed out by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
Beck is one of Germany’s most successful chefs, having won three Michelin stars at his world famous La Pergola restaurant in Rome, Italy.
On Gusto’s website, the restaurant is described as “a Mediterranean restaurant with Scandinavian-inspired design that pays homage to Conrad Hilton’s father Augustus.”
Beck and his team serve dishes using only the “finest local and international ingredients”, almost always with a Mediterranean touch.
Gusto’s accolade is the second award that Beck received from the AAHS this month.
His “fine dining establishment” Social by Heinz Beck in Dubai also received the Diamond Award on November 2.
