Two people were hurt when an on-duty ambulance went out of control while transporting a patient on the A2 near Palmela. Worst affected was the patient – described now as in a serious condition by Correio da Manhã newspaper. The other person injured was one of the crew members attached to the Santo André fire station, but his injuries are thought to have been minor.
