Mulamba Watema Shabendelo, the ambassador in Lisbon for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is reportedly missing from his country’s embassy in Lisbon.
He hasn’t been seen since yesterday, explain reports.
PSP and PJ police have been brought in. For the time being there are no suspicions of any crime having taken place. It could be that Mr Shabendelo has gone missing of his own volition.
His ‘absence’ was reported by his wife, writes Jornal de Notícias. But it could be that he has simply travelled to France, for medical treatment.
It is in this direction that investigations appear to be focused.
