Ambassador discusses Lisbon Treaty

British Ambassador to Portugal Alex Ellis (pictured) will be the guest of honour at a British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) business lunch on January 11 at the Hotel Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade. He will talk about the impacts of the Lisbon Treaty, which came into force on December 1 2009, in both Portugal and the UK. Chris Barton, CEO of the BPCC, told the Algarve Resident: “We would be happy to see as many of you as possible taking this excellent opportunity to listen to one of the most interesting personalities within the diplomatic service and also meet and mingle with a number of other members and friends of the British Chamber.”

If you wish to participate, please contact the BPCC’s Helena Fernandes by email at [email protected] before January 7.
