Álvaro Sobrinho, the former head of BES Angola, is back in Lisbon today, being questioned by notorious (for his perceived determination to fight corruption) judge Carlos Alexandre. The multi-millionaire said very little to journalists camped outside DCIAP headquarters (department of criminal investigation and penal action), but it is understood Judge Alexandre is seeking to change the terms of Mr Sobrinho’s bail: the idea being to see him put under some form of ‘detention’ (possibly house arrest, much like the situation of Manuel Pinho).
