Altura in the Castro Marim borough will host an Easter Fair (Feirinha da Páscoa) this Saturday and Sunday (April 15-16) near the Avenida 24 de Junho roundabout.
Starting at 3pm, there will be stalls selling sweets, handicrafts and Folar (Portugal’s traditional Easter cake) as well as many other local products.
The fair will also offer workshops on how to make Folar, as well as musical entertainment by singer Isabel Frade at 5pm on Saturday.
On Sunday, there will be face-painting for children and performances by Zequinha the Clown and the Rancho Folclórico of Santo Estevão.
Admission is free.
