Each year 17 golf teams from throughout the Algarve compete in the Algarve Interleague.
The championship match this year took place on November 18 at Serra da Monchique between Alto Golf Club and Serra da Monchique from the Silves club.
Over two matches the teams were tied with five points each.
In these circumstances, the greater aggregated win margins of the individual matches decides the winner, so the Alto club were the overall winners.
Alto team captain Peter Fisher would like to congratulate the Serra da Monchique team for coming so close, and thanked all the players involved in the competition.
