A drive-in carol service organised by the All Saints Anglican Church Algarve will be held on Thursday, December 17 at the Sunday morning market parking area at Rua Salgueiro Maia in Almancil, next to the municipal football stadium.
Upon arrival, parking attendants will direct cars to their parking place. In order to keep within the rules for social distancing, everyone (except the staff) will remain in their cars.
The Bible Story of the Birth of Jesus will be read and broadcast through speakers, as well as music for the carols so everyone can hear and sing along.
The programme including the readings and words of the carols will be provided in booklets in both English and Portuguese.
The carol service will begin at 6.30pm. The service should last for approximately 80 minutes.
Admission is free.
