Sophie’s Golf Shop, formerly known as Algar Golf, has undergone a complete refurbishment and expansion, offering golfers all they need for their sport under one roof.
Sophie Leroy, who moved to the Algarve from France 18 years ago, told the Algarve Resident: “The shop has doubled in size and has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for clients.”
Sophie’s Golf Shop located in Odiáxere stocks a full range of golf wear for both sexes as well as casual fashion wear for women.
“We stock a range of trousers, jackets, skirts and more,” she said.
A full range of golf accessories such as shoes and golf bags are also available as well as the rental of golf clubs, push and electric golf trolleys.
Sophie prides herself on customer service and is always on hand to help clients in various languages including English, French and German.
“The shop has a seating area with sofas and a television for partners to wait in comfort while their other half shops,” she said.
“If a client is looking for something more unusual or that is not in stock, I do my best to source the product and order it in.”
Clients can use any method of payment at the shop and Sophie will even send items to clients in the post if required.
