More than 30,000 people lined the streets of Loulé as part of the fourth annual White Night on August 28.
The event, to mark the end of the summer, asks for visitors to dress in white clothing as they enjoy live music and street entertainment in the city. New additions to the street party this year included a silent party where there were 2,000 headphones available for visitors to be able to listen to music from a DJ.
This proved to be one of the most popular areas of the White Night with all the headphones being used as guests danced in silence.
Meanwhile, local nightclubs Faces, Puro Beach, No Solo Agua Moments and Black Jack all had exclusive spaces at the event for party goers to enjoy DJ sets.
Since beginning in 2007, the White Night has grown in popularity, with 17,000 people attending the first edition, 20,000 guests in 2008 and 25,000 visitors last year.
Organisers of the event have already announced that the Loulé White Night will take place again next year on August 27.
